Female Israeli Soldiers Tell Their Story
A heroic all female unit of the Israeli Defense Force tell how they defeated 100 Hamas terrorists in fierce fighting after the October 7 attacks.
The Daily Mail‘s Nick Pisa and Roland Hoskins travelled to southern Israel to speak to Lieutenant Colonel Or Ben Yehuda and the Caracal Battalion soldiers who are the only all-female frontline unit in the Israeli Defense Forces.
COMMENTS:
- Israeli citizens serve throughout their lives. They are on call and on a rota, at all times, ready to defend their land. Its incredible.
- Israel has one of the most professional, highly trained and high tech army on the planet. The big part of it are reservists. They are drafted for training once a year, but mostly are civilians living their lives.
- Israel army is beefed up at times of war with conscripted reservists.
Lieutenant Colonel Or Ben-Yehuda already received a Commendation for bravely fighting a group of 23 armed smugglers. She did so mostly alone, after her deputy was shot on the Israeli Egyptian border in 2014. She killed several of them and was injured by a gunshot in her shoulder. But she kept fighting until IDF forces arrived.
She’s a real Lioness of Judah and we Israelis are very proud to have women like her and her fighters in the IDF.

- I want this feedback to be read by Israeli military commanders:
1. Because women generally are INSTINCTIVELY MORE ACUTE THAN MEN in their observation about almost anything. They will be more effective military commanders than men, if they are primed to think objectively and strategically. Take a minute to digest what I am saying.
2. Men, by contrast, are generally more powerful and effective in the execution of any operation, be it military or otherwise. These two points will be proved right, if more women become commanders.
3. The reason why this observation is not easily evident so far in history, is ONLY because there have not been enough women military commanders in battles and wars.
For anything to register on the general public mind, or to be noticed at large in any organization, it has to reach a critical mass and spill beyond it. Then it becomes very evident, resented at first (because it is new), and then accepted without question.
This video is a fitting attempt to bring out this fact in the IDF, which I have consistently admired. Thank you for making it. - 👌👌👌👍👍👍👏👏👏🤝🤝🤝❤❤❤ BEAUTIFUL SOLDIERS – all of them…!
